چکیده

A power management unit (PMU) is an essential block for diversified multi-functional low-power Internet of Things (IoT) and biomedical electronics. This paper includes a theoretical analysis high current, single-stage ac-dc, reconfigurable, dual output, regulating rectifier consisting pulse width modulation (PWM) frequency (PFM). The provides two independently regulated supply voltages 1.8 V 3.3 from input ac voltage. PFM control feedback consists feedback-driven regulation to adjust the driving transistors through adaptive buffers in active rectifier. PWM/PFM mode loop conduction duration accurately minimize losses. design also adiabatic charge pump (CP) provide higher voltage level. CP latch-up power-saving topologies enhance its efficiency. Simulation results show that has 94.3% conversion efficiency with magnitude 3.5 Vp. output 82.3%. overall (VCE) 92.9% total on-chip capacitance 60 pF. circuit was designed using 180 nm CMOS technology.

Efficient Wireless Power Transfer for Biomedical Implant Application

High efficiency is vital for wireless powering link in biomedical implant application. This paper presents the analysis of the overall efficiency from the viewpoint of whole link and two important factors are elaborated. First, the choice of the optimal power carrier frequency should be tradeoff through the whole link, especially with consideration of power transfer, tissueinduced loss, and hum...

Adaptive Power Converter for Wireless Power Transfer in Biomedical Applications (invited)

Wireless power transfer is a suitable method for powering electronic devices implanted in the human body or attached to the skin, as it prevents the need for inconvenient cables or surgeries to replace batteries. The power received by the device varies due to antenna misalignment, distance from the power source and objects present in the environment that reflect the electromagnetic waves. Moreo...

An Efficient Adiabatic Circuit Design Approach for Low Power Applications

An alternative and efficient design for static adiabatic logic gates based on the GFCAL adiabatic family is proposed. The GFCAL circuit proposed earlier had made use of diodes for controlling the charging or discharging of the output node. A method is proposed to replace the diodes and thus make the circuit more energy efficient by avoiding the break-in voltage drop across the charging and disc...

Digitally Controlled Rectifier for Wireless Power Receivers

Reducing power loss in wireless power receivers is important to avoid thermal design issues. Synchronous rectification is a suitable means for loss reduction. In this paper we propose a synchronous rectifier with a simple control scheme. A detailed analysis leads to a time-domain model which is used to perform a power loss analysis. Experimental verification shows that the predicted efficiency ...
